Jesse Lingard and Jadon Sancho are facing the prospect of being excluded from the England squad for the upcoming international games, as per Daily Mail.
The Man United players have not received enough game-time in recent weeks – which is why they could be snubbed.
Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood are likely to return to the England squad, potentially replacing their teammates.
So far, Lingard has only recieved 18 minutes playtime for United after his last appearance for the Lions in October.
Also, Sancho has struggled at United so far and has been benched for the last three consecutive games.
The England squad will be revealed on Thursday afternoon, but things are not looking good for two midfielders.
