So far there are injury concerns in the Blues camp over Trevoh Chalobah and Hakim Ziyech who were subbed off during the Wolves draw, Thomas Tuchel has provided the injury update after the game.
“We can survive a game but we will pay the price for sure. Maybe we already do it with all our midfielders,” the boss said, as quoted by Metro.
“Trevoh, hopefully it’s just pain but at the moment it’s very painful. We hope it’s not serious but we need further examination.
“With Hakim, I don’t think it’s bad. He got hit on his nerve and his calf was tight. We had to take him off, of course.”
On Wednesday, Chelsea are scheduled to face Brentford in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal, so Tuchel could really do without further injuries.
Only six players, including two goalkeepers, featured on the bench for the Wolves game after seven players tested positive for Covid.
