“As a No 1 and No 2, I don’t think there is any better in the Premier League,” Chelsea’s third-choice keeper Marcus Bettinelli told The Athletic about Edouard Mendy and Kepa.
“You have David de Gea and Dean Henderson at Manchester United, but I believe Mendy and Kepa are better than them.
“If any other club had offered me a spot as a back-up keeper, I would have said no,” Bettinelli added.
“In terms of goalkeeping philosophy and a collection of minds, it’s an unbelievable group.
“There isn’t just Edou and Kepa to pick up things from — I can talk to Cech (who is now the club’s technical and performance advisor). He is a legend, not just at Chelsea but for all goalkeepers.”
Bettinelli, 29, joined the Blues in the summer as a free agent and has effectively replaced Willy Caballero as Chelsea’s third-choice goalkeeper but he’s yet to make a debut for the London side.

Before that, Bettinelli had a pretty decent career, coming through the ranks at Fulham and playing seven Premier League games, in addition to almost 100 appearances in the Championship.
He spent the last season on loan at Middlesborough where he was a clear first-choice keeper.
