Rashford has been quiet and has posted nothing on social media since the embarrassing Liverpool disaster at Old Trafford.
However, recently the England international Marcus Rashford reveals how he felt after Liverpool disaster. He completely understands the effects of this loss on the Red Devils supporters and has assured that the club will do everything possible to redeem itself.
He twitted: ” I can’t lie you haven’t heard from me on here because as a United fan I didn’t really know what to say after Sunday. I was embarrassed. I am embarrassed. Our fans are everything and you didn’t deserve that. We’re working hard to try and fix this. We have to redeem ourselves.”
Manchester United witnessed the hardest defeat at home to Liverpool and also with a margin of five goals since February 1955.
In the early hours of Thursday, Rashford opened up about the club’s huge defeat on Twitter after having some time to think. This was his first post after Thursday last week.
It is time that the team takes the responsibility upon their shoulders and put effort to improve the situation, with Rashford leading at the forefront.
Up next for Man Utd is a trip to Tottenham on Saturday in the Premier League. The Red Devils are in the seventh position in the league, right behind their upcoming opponents.
