In the past week Owen Hargreaves claimed that Marcus Rashford would’ve been ‘fuming’ with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after being benched against Spurs.
The forward who has been nominated for the club’s player of the month award, responded on Twitter: “Fuming at the manager? We won the game! That celebration was pure relief! It’s been a hard week…”
Marcus Rashford has been nominated for the Manchester Player of the Month award alongside goalkeeper David de Gea and forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is one of the best fit for the English player who just returned from surgery in the past month.
Solskjaer replies critics
Solskjaer has made it clear that he’s not bothered by the recent barrage of criticism as Manchester United continue to struggle to put a decent run of results together.
While speaking ahead fo the Atalanta Clash, the United boss said: “Criticism keeps me going so keep it coming. It’s people’s job to give their opinion and I’m not looking for a fight with anyone.”
Solskjaer to appoint Roy Keane as assistant
Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has told Solskjaer to bring in Roy Keane as an assistant manager to make the Man United players work harder on the pitch.
Redknapp told talkSPORT: “Everyone’s going to think I’m absolutely mad, but I’d bring in Keane. If I was Ole I’d think to myself, he won’t mess around and he’ll sort one or two out.”
