Premier League clubs to start daily coronavirus testing

All Premier League clubs are expected to approve plans for all players to be tested daily for Covid-19 after a spike in positive cases, as per The Athletic.

Players are likely to take the stringent PCR tests every day alongside the lateral flow test every day to keep track over a possible increase in positive cases.

This is necessary to contain the spread of the new covid variant.

Edinson Cavani’s brother and agent has hinted that the 34-year-old striker would consider offers to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window.
