Manchester United Board rejects Antonio Conte – Gives reasons

Manchester United Board rejects Antonio Conte

It was earlier reported that the board had made contact with the former Chelsea and Juventus boss Antonio Conte about taking over the job at Old Trafford as manager.

However after series of review, the Manchester United Board rejects Antonio Conte as the next manager as reported by Manchester Evening News.

Some of the high-ranking club officials are ‘not keen’ on the Italian manager because of fears his style is like Jose Mourinho’s defensive one.

Also, there are claims that certain high-ranking figures at United believe hiring Conte could go against the ‘cultural reboot’ that has happened at the club since Mourinho’s departure.

The former Inter Milan manager himself is keen on taking the job and believes he can do well with the squad.

If Solskjaer is unable to produce positive results in the next 3 games, he is almost certain to be replaced during the next international break. Perhaps they could use Zidane as another option.

  1. This United board I don’t understand what’s the matter with them the three matches they’re giving believe me nothing will come out, instead United is going to be thrown to either number 15 or 16 believe me. If they don’t want Conte how about Ten baag that coach for Ajax Amsterdam the guy is good he knows how to motivate palyers and how to bring young players up for example the light of van de beek, de light and many more bring him in. This issue of depending on legends doesn’t work.
