Man United players ratings against Atalanta – Pogba drops low as Ronaldo & Bailly rates high

David De Gea — 3

The Spaniard had a few errors and that was for the first goal. Yes he could have done better for the second. Without a doubt, this was De Gea’s worst game of the season so far.

Eric Bailly — 8.5

Bailly was effectively a one-man defence, putting in a monster display and making not one, but two vital blocks to keep Manchester United in the game. He deserves more play time.

Harry Maguire — 4

The skipper was average in the first half and downright poor after the break. Maguire failed an offside trap to allow Atalanta to score their second goal. The English defender is losing it.

Paul Pogba — 2

A disaster class from the Frenchman in what was one his worst-ever performances for the club. Abysmal on the ball and looks like his head is gone.

Marcus Rashford — 4

Rashford was rather too slow from the beginning and failed to grow into the match after Raphael Varane’s injury forced Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to switch to the 4-2-3-1 formation.

Cristiano Ronaldo — 9

Clinical. Two massive goals, two massive equalisers. The point earned at Bergamo could decide Man United’s Champions League fate this season.

The rest: Varane — 5, Wan-Bissaka — 5, Shaw — 5, McTominay — 6, Bruno — 7.5.

Subs: Greenwood — 6, Matic — 5, Cavani — 5, Van de Beek — N/A, Sancho — N/A.
