Luke Shaw Names Club To Win Champions League Trophy This Season

“The season so far, in general, is, of course, not good enough,” Luke Shaw told talkSPORT.

“I think where we want to be and where we are now are two completely different places.

“Obviously, we’re very devastated about getting knocked out of the FA Cup. It was, obviously, a competition that we felt that we could win.

“And, of course, we’re not in a position in the league that we want to be in – we don’t deserve to be with the results we’ve had.”

The Manchester United defender continued: “With how things are going, with the ups and downs, it’s not good enough for a team that wants to win the title.

“You look at the top teams and their consistency, they’re at a high level and are consistently winning matches – we haven’t been doing that.

“But it’s something we’ve looked at and it’s something we need to improve on.

“Of course, we’re still in the Champions League, a lot of people will doubt us, but we have to have that belief that we can go and win it because it’s important to have that inside the dressing room and to have something to fight for.”
