Eric Bailly explains how Cristiano Ronaldo presence affects the dressing room

There’s been a lot of mixed feelings at Manchester United since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo. The players have shared their thoughts about the presence of the Portuguese ace in the dressing room.

In the mean time, almost all the players at Old Trafford no longer eat dessert during mealtime in the canteen due to the examples set by Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese star is renowned for his astonishing physical condition at the age of 36, which can be traced to his strict diet and rigorous training regime.

Bailly has backed up this claim, admitting the squad have followed Ronaldo’s lead by choosing to forgo dessert.

“No, we’ve stopped [eating dessert],” the centre-back told Poet & Vuj. “All the players stopped because it’s good, you need to change sometimes.

“Ronaldo has been the best for a long time, why? Your body, you need to take care of it.”

Ronaldo continues to reap the rewards of his eating habits and he is United’s top scorer this season with 13 goals in 19 appearances.
