Fabrizio Romano rules out Ziyech to Barca, names main reason why

Fabrizio has cleared the doubt about the potential move of Ziyech from Stamford Bridge to Camp Nou.

There were rumours of Hakim Ziyech leaving Chelsea in January, with Barcelona being named as one of the prime destinations for him.

Fabrizio Romano has now ruled out a January move to the La Liga side for the Ziyech.

He explains that this is so due to Barca agreeing on a deal with Manchester City to sign Ferran Torres next month.

With Torres and Ziyech preferring to operate in the same wide areas, a move for the Chelsea winger is now unnecessary for Barcelona.

Thomas Tuchel also confirmed a couple of weeks ago that Ziyech has not asked to leave and he plans to keep his squad intact beyond January.
