It was a scene that called the attention of the security as they were forced to protect Cristiano Ronaldo when a fan jumped in front of his vehicle while on the way to Manchester United training on Thursday.
Cristiano Ronaldo is known to have the largest fan base on the planet, his fans is reportedly to be more in number than most clubs in the English league put together, but that does not explain the obsession that most people have for the Portuguese ace.
Since his arrival to England, Cristiano had arranged for his family to join him from Italy, also, Cristiano Ronaldo jnr. has been registered with the Manchester United academy.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had to bring his family closer to him so that he can be able to give his best to the club that ushered him to the highest stage in his professional career as a footballer without distraction.
However, while on the road to training on Thursday, an unnamed supporter jumped in front of Ronaldo’s car and tried to snap a picture of the Portuguese superstar in his vehicle.
It appeared to be an attack and there was an immediate response from the security unit that pushed the man to the side and allowed Cristiano to keep driving.
Later on, it was gathered that the unnamed man had no intention to attack the United striker but to take picture.
At the mention of the intention to Cristiano Ronaldo, the 36-year-old forward didn’t look too happy with the way the supporter was treated by security personnel.
