18-Year-Old Star Hints At Chelsea Return As Buy-Back Clause Revealed

Chelsea saw a host of academy graduates depart from the club this summer after finding it difficult to break into Thomas Tuchel’s side. One of the departed stars has revealed he could be back to Stamford Bridge as a player one day in the future.

“Maybe one day,” Valentino Livramento told the Mirror when asked if he sees himself back in Chelsea colors.

“[B]ut I’m just enjoying my football at the moment at Southampton, that’s where my head’s at right now.

“You just have to look at what is best for you and have good people around you who want what is best for you, a good agent, dad, and family.

“Everything just fell into place.”

Valentino Livramento joined the Blues Academy when he was 6, so he has spent two-thirds of his life at Chelsea.

He joined Southampton in August this year after failing to get reassurances over a first-team place at Stamford Bridge.

According to The Athletic, the Blues sold him for £5m and inserted a £25m buy-back clause.

The 18-year-old has been in brilliant form for Southampton, making 7 Premier League appearances and recording an assist.
